GBE Awards 2026 Nomination Terms

1. Nomination submission
Nominations must be submitted within the 2026 nomination window published in the portal. Late or incomplete submissions may not be considered. The current early-bird nomination processing fee is LKR 55,000 per category, as shown in the portal and linked checkout. The standard processing fee is LKR 85,000 per category. The fee is fully refundable if the nominee is not awarded.
2. Selection process
The selection panel evaluates nominees on merit, achievements and eligibility. The panel's decision is final; disputes, appeals and negotiations will not be entertained.
3. Accuracy and verification
The person submitting the nomination confirms that the information and documents supplied are accurate and may be verified. The organisers may reject a nomination or revoke an award if misleading, fraudulent or materially inaccurate information is discovered.
4. Confidentiality and data use
Personal and business information is used for nomination processing, verification, judging and award-related communication. Nominee and winner information may be used for award-related publicity as described in the privacy notice and these terms.
5. Award ceremony and winner obligations
Winners are expected to attend the award ceremony in person or send a representative. An additional representative attending on behalf of a winner is subject to an LKR 6,000 attendance fee. By accepting an award, winners consent to award-related use of their name, photographs and achievements.
6. Publication and optional promotion
The organisers may publish nominee and winner details on the official website, social channels, press releases, event brochures and related award materials. Optional press release, newspaper, magazine and website promotion packages may be offered for an additional charge.
