GBE Awards Portal Privacy Notice

1. Who we are
Global Business Excellence Awards operates this nomination and applicant portal. Privacy, access and correction requests may be sent to

2. Information we collect
We collect nominee and organisation details, contact information, category selections, supporting documents, payment proof, account and security records, portal messages, application decisions and operational audit records. Technical security data may include timestamps, request identifiers and privacy-preserving network fingerprints.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to receive and verify nominations, administer judging and awards, confirm payments, communicate with nominees and applicants, provide secure portal access, prevent abuse, meet operational and legal obligations and maintain an auditable record of decisions.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Information is shared only as needed with authorised GBE Awards staff, reviewers and service providers supporting the portal. These providers include Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Cloudflare for private file storage and abuse protection, Resend for transactional email, and the payment services selected by the submitter. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the portal and its users.
5. International processing and security
Service providers may process information in countries outside the submitter's location. We use access controls, encryption in transit, private file storage, staff multi-factor authentication, restricted provider credentials and audit logging to protect portal information.
6. Retention
Records are retained only for the award programme, security, dispute, accounting and legal periods that apply. Temporary uploads, generated exports and superseded files are removed under the portal's configured retention schedules.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to or correction of your information and may raise a privacy concern by contacting
[email protected]. Requests may require identity verification. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, contractual, accounting or legal purposes.
8. Publicity and updates
Award-related publicity uses are described in the nomination terms. Material changes to this notice will be published in the portal with a revised effective date.
